Analysis of three Digipacks

Dub step Genre

This is "Touch Yello" Digipack. I think this is very effective, but it seems to be one of the only ones to actually show the artist so it is very rare. Although this is visually pleasing, it does not however fully show the artist. It does not have close up's either. Instead it uses Mid-shots to show the artist playing an instrument.

I could not find the full digipak online for this artist but i thought it fitted the genre perfectly. The actual photo shows a young man who fits the profile we made for our target audience. The bright colour Yellow is centred and used well to attract attention,clearly showing the artists name with his face.
The only thing i would change about this cover, is the mid shot yet again. As it is a debut album, they need to be using closeups to show the artist a lot more clearly.

Whilst researching the dubstep genre for digipak's, i came across this picture which i thought would really suit our video. The night life is represented very well, that along with a close up of the face and the artists name would look very effective. 

I also love the back of the digipak as it is very visually intriguing.
