decisions decisions!

As a group we had to decide on a colour scheme for our Ancillary work, we all decided on the colours RED and BLACK but couldn't decide on a third colour.

First we decided we'd add blue to our already chosen colours to RED and BLACK, but then we realised there isn't really any visual links to our video if we add in blue, also because there are so many different shades of blue it'd be harder to pick which suited the best so we decided against it.

Next me and Billie thought maybe orange would look nice since it would go nicely with the red but again we thought it didn't link to our video. And this was all before we took the pictures of the artist so we thought we'd take pictures of our artist then after that we'd decide finally what would suite with BLACK & RED

Our FINAL choice that we finally decided on, was the colour WHITE. after taking the shots of Ava Manhattan with a white background we thought it would look best.Also if we wanted to add in graphics or patterns doing it against white would look the nicest. White is also simple and we don't want to over do it.



WHY DID WE CHOOSE RED? - We chose red because of Ava Manhattans Hair colour - throughout the video you can see Ava often touvching her hair and the colour of it (RED) is quite 'in your face' so we thought it would work well for our digipak.

WHY DID WE CHOOSE BLACK? We chose black because the theme of our video being 'night life' having it black would work best. Also the colour of Ava's corset is black so we hope the audience can make visual links between the two. Also black is a colour that can go with anything which will work to our advantage.
