Thursdays lesson!

We looked through previous work by students and when I've taken pictures of it I'll upload it.

We looked at Poppy Power, Sasha and Mia Knight. In all three we looked at strengths and weaknesses of both their digipaks and advertisements.

Poppy Power

Strengths of digipak 

- The use of colours was effective as it linked back to their video.
- They used a good font which can be easily read
- Also it showed they have good IT skills

Weaknesses 

- There wasn't many weaknesses the only one we could see was that maybe the pictures were a little dark.

Strengths of advertisement

-The use of reviews made it look professional

Weaknesses

- The font should have been the same one use on the digipak.

Sasha 

Strengths of digipak

-Good photography
-Good use of colours 
-Font is placed well

Weaknesses 

-They possibly could have used more copyright details
-Used numbers beside the song titles it would have just tied it together and made it look better.

Strengths of advertisement 

-They used a different picture to the digipak
- Carried on the same theme

Weaknesses 

-HMV was badly placed

Mia Knight

Strengths of digipak

- Good photo used
- Good colours

Weaknesses

- Barcode should have been placed at the bottom rather than at the top.
