Today's lesson!

In today's lesson I started adding text to my two front panel of my digipak. Initially from my mock up, I wanted to have the artist name 'Ava Manhattan' at the top left and the album name 'Infinity' on the bottom left. But Today I experimented with placing the text in different places, It was surprisingly quite a hard decision. I love the picture that I have chosen for Ava and I don't want the text to overshadow/power it.

These are four screen shots That I took, I asked second and third opinions from my classmates and the teachers who both thought the first and last one looked the best. I too thought the first and second looked more striking.

I ended up going for this one ----->
I think I chose this one because two teachers agreed that they proffered it which gave me the confidence to use it, and also I think having her name in one line looks better than having in two. Because most famous singers such as BEYONCE, RIHANNA or MADONNA only have their first name it would be easier for them to have their name placed

Three CD covers I looked at. These three female artist all have their name in one line on their covers, although not from my genre I chose to look at mainstream covers since most of them follow the conventions which is something I need to make sure I do. Also having our song from a dub-step genre I have been looking into many other genres, since I'm not tied down to any sort of 'tradition' that dub-step cd covers have
