Review of previous music video

I enjoyed this video thoroughly  considering the fact that its a student video didn't seem to limit these students and they made it look great from the mise en scene to editing! Everything seems well organised and properly story boarded the reason as to why I assume this is, the whole video ties together quite well and if it was to be done spontaneously it may not have looked as good as it did. The students may have taken Andrew Goodwins theory of "amplification" whereby the video added new meaning without contradicting the lyrics. As we see a wolf running when the singer says "running free" although it is an animal running free, I believe they played on the ambiguity of who is running free. Also thinking about Carol Vernallis the editing in the video matches the beat, when the music is fast the editing is fast and snappy. The editing also became foregrounded- obvious jumps cuts made the video more appealing to the eye and kept me as the audience interested.
