THE TECHNICAL SKILLS I DEVELOPED IN AS.


Well My biggest and proudest achievement and skill I think I developed was using FINAL CUT PRO. And if I do say so myself I think I was pretty good at. I did find it hard in the beginning because this was the first type of any editing I had ever done, but after a while I got the hang of it and it got pretty easy. I know that editing a music video is totally DIFFERENT, but I hope to pick up on it fairly quickly. *fingers crossed*

Using SOUND TRACK PRO. Now this for me was quite hard. I think what made it easier was that it is similar to FINAL CUT PRO. I think this year, in regards to sounds it will be much easier because we will be dealing with base tracks and not actual ready made sounds/backing sounds.

Of course, developing skills using the camera and tripod. I also learnt health and safety. Little things like learning how to insert batteries properly or how to make the tripod stand up right. It all adds up to this new confidence I have in regards to using a camera. Especially learning about the 180 degree rule.

PLANNING this year has definitely improved form last year It helps because everyone in the group is just so motivated :D We all obviously want good grades for this coursework - so wre all just working together. We already have a list of locations and story boards according to timings. If we all stick together and follow the plans I think we are all well capable of getting a A.
