My favourite previous student video.

My favourite previous student video.

Unfortunately, the hall of fame won't allow me to access any of the videos and so I can't find the name, group members, or any information of this particular video, so I'm going to try and describe it.

I viewed this video in class, and immediately tagged it as my favourite. The students had put an MTV logo in the top left hand corner, which, oddly, made the video look immediately more professional. From the minute it started, it was obvious how much effort had gone into planning, procedure, and editing. The lens on the camera was constantly in correct focus. The effects added were excellent, with filters added at stages, "focus blurs" and time manipulation. The students had also thought about the lighting used. The "storyline" was excellently executed and very obvious as to what the students had wanted to get across. They did a fantastic job of making the "vocalist" into the villain in the video, and giving him a large amount of face-time to help promote. The video was in synch perfectly with the music. If I had gone onto youtube, or seen this video on MTV, I would not have suspected that students had made it. It looked like the real deal. The visuals were interesting, there was a large attention to detail, all elements had been worked on thoroughly - I cannot really fault the video, which is why it is my favourite.

Edit: I'll ask a teacher next class to help me embed it. Sorry I can't talk more specifically - I shall when I have the video to watch an analyse.
