Developing in media: My AS year.

Technical skills i developed in AS:

• Learnt media language 

Last year i think i grasped media language pretty well. In my exam i used media language frequently and i think it paid off. 

• Health and safety of filming

I learnt a lot about hazards in filming and how to prevent danger.

• How to use programmes  such as Final Cut etc

I learnt how to use editing and sound software. Learning how to use Final cut was one of m favorite parts of media last year i found it very interesting but challenging. 

• Organisation skills

Through making the opening to a thriller last year i learnt that planning a head is the best way to produce a good quality video. If you are organised it makes the whole process of creating films a lot easier. This year i think i will do a lot more planning and organizing to ensure our video is the best it can be.

• Camerawork. 

I really enjoyed doing professional filming last year. Using good quality cameras and learning about what footage you need and how much to produce a good video.
